Brennan Kosloski joined the Fresno Monsters for the 2015-2016 season coming from the Phoenix Knights. Being placed on a new team, he has proved himself to be a fundamental player in the lineup. Headed into the Las Vegas Showcase, Kosloski has put up 16 points with 4 goals (3 of those being game winning), and 12 assists during 25 games played. His hard work and determination on and off the ice will be extremely beneficial during these next 4 games. The veteran forward was kind enough to spend twenty minutes on the phone with Jenny MacArthur, while on the Golden Eagle charter bus traveling to today’s game in the Las Vegas Showcase against the Missoula Maulers, and answered some of our questions.

Where are you from and when did you start playing hockey?

I’m from Regina, Saskatchewan and I’ve been playing hockey since I was 4.

What are you looking forward to the most about going home for the winter break?

Seeing my family and friends and skating on the outdoor rinks.

What is your favorite thing to do in Fresno?

Going to Dutch Bros and hanging out with the boys.

What are you looking to do to standout during the showcase?

Every game I just try to play my style of hockey, which is skating hard, finishing my checks and trying to create offensive opportunity.

Moving from the Phoenix Knights this year, what is the biggest difference you’ve seen between teams?

The coaching style is definitely different and the intensity in practice is much higher with the Monsters.

What is your favorite part about road trips?

I like being on the bus and hanging out with the boys. It’s also cool to see the other rinks in the league.
