Date: Mar 22, 2016
For Immediate Release (Fresno, California) - The Fresno Monsters are proud to announce the acquiring of forward Jacob Rudloff from the Butte Cobras for the remainder of the 2015-2016 season. He will face his first games as a Monster against the Ogden Mustangs this weekend.
Rudloff (DePere, Wisconsin) is looking to continue his success as a top forward in the Western States Hockey League. Standing at 6'0 and 185 pounds, he will be looking to add size to the Monsters. Rudloff skated 43 games last season with the Cobras putting up 23 points with 11 goals and 12 assists along with 105 penalty minutes. Rudloff looks to provide the team with a strong work ethic to keep the team energized and ready to put their best foot forward for as the season continues.
"We are extremely excited for the addition of Jacob and I think that he will fit in well with our group," said Head Coach Bryce Dale. "He competes hard and it will be great to add his confidence and scoring touch to compliment our forwards that seem to be picking up steam. We have definitely become a more offensively dangerous team with the addition of Jacob."
Monsters fans can watch Jacob and the rest of the Monsters team as they take on the Ogden Mustangs for a 3-game series starting tomorrow at 7:45pm. Thursday we will be hosting Latino Heritage night and Saturday is Legends and Monsters night. Come on out and support your Fresno Monsters hockey team at Gateway Ice Arena.
