Bryce Dale Steps Down after 6 Seasons Behind the Bench

For Immediate Release (Fresno, California) - Your Fresno Monsters are proud to announce the signing of forward Grayden Hohl for the 2015-2016 hockey season. Hohl (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) comes to the Monsters after a campaign with the Peninsula Panthers of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League in 2014-2015. Monsters fans will recognize the name as Grayden is the younger brother of former Fresno Monster Gaven Hohl, who spent time with the Monsters in their inaugural season in the NAHL. Prior to playing for the Monsters, Gaven suited up with the Monsters rival Phoenix Polar Bears, where he eventually scored the game winning goal against the Monsters propelling Phoenix to the WSHL finals. Currently, Gaven plays college hockey at the University of Central Oklahoma where he won an ACHA National Championship in 2015 as UCO went on to defeat Stoney Brook University.
Grayden looks to continue his success and be a significant contributor to a Monsters offense that tallied 301 total goals last season, which was good for first in the Western States Hockey League. Fresno also led the WSHL in Power Play Goals For, scoring 66 power play goals in 46 games, finishing 8 goals ahead of the Wichita Jr. Thunder. In 42 games last season in the with the Peninsula Panthers, the 5'8 175lb forward registered 10 goals and 22 assists and while tallying 22 penalty minutes for the Panthers. Hohl is known for his smooth playmaking ability, his speed, his fluid hands, as well as his knack for finding the net.

As we are get ready to start the season, we believe that we are picking up the necessary pieces to the puzzle in order to have a group that is going to push each other every day they come to the rink.”
