The Hawkesbury Hawks were firing on all cylinders against the Nepean Raiders, and when the final buzzer sounded Hawks emerged with a 4-0 win.
Hawkesbury was sparked by Tristan Perreault-Gagnon, who finished with one goal. Perreault-Gagnon scored 10:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hawkesbury. Ross Mandigo picked up the assist.
The Hawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Hawkesbury got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.
Hawkesbury also got a goal from Damien Charette as well. Other players who recorded assists for Hawkesbury were Pierre Ouellette, who had two, Rory Gagnon, who had three, and Jonathan Cyr and Chris Harper, who each chipped in one.

Hawkesbury ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Cyr was ejected from the game. Daniel Urbani rejected 19 shots on goal for the Raiders. Nepean ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For the Raiders, Mac MacSorley was ejected from the game.
