The Falmouth Commodores need walk-off single to beat the Cotuit Kettleers, 10-9

A walk-off single from Boomer White brought home the winning run for the Falmouth Commodores (26-17) in a 10-9 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (18-25) in 10 innings at Arnie Allen Diamond on Tuesday.

White led the Falmouth Commodores' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second and tenth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 19 runs and 24 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 14 pitchers used in the game.

Nicholas Cooney recorded his first win of the year for the Falmouth Commodores. He allowed two runs over one inning. Cooney struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Drew Jackson (0-1) took the loss for the Cotuit Kettleers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Falmouth Commodores' White, Matthew Eureste, Conor Costello and Conner Hale combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
