Stevenson helps the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox down the Harwich Mariners 7-2

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (3-1) beat the Harwich Mariners (2-1) 7-2 on Sunday at Whitehouse Field behind Andrew Stevenson, who drove in four runs.

He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Michael Murray picked up the win for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. Murray allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Johnathan Frebis held the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox scoreless for 5 2/3 innings. Frebis struck out three and allowed one walk and three hits.

Robby Kalaf (0-1) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
