Concerns about how Kiger Stadium can continue to be funded recently surfaced at City Council.
Kiger Association Chairman Don Ambers requested the council authorize an approximate $27,000 donation to help fund improvements to the stadium; new women’s and men’s restroom, and funds for a groundskeeper. The city owns Kiger Stadium but the nonprofit Kiger Association maintains the field for use by several organizations, including the Klamath Falls Gems, Oregon Tech and Babe Ruth baseball.
