PEEWEES ARE TIER 2 PROVINCIAL CHAMPS

Week 5 had the Mites, Atoms and Peewees on the road while the Bantams were at home on the SJA gridiron.
The Atom team continued to round into form in all three phases as they defeated the Truro Tide 34-0 on Saturday night at the TAAC field. The Special Teams groups contained the Tide's returns and caused a fumble which was recovered by the Titans. The defence pitched another shut out and were outstanding all night, with the rookies contributing with some big tackles as well. On offence the Atom Titans continued with a well balanced attack along with strong play from the offensive line. The Atoms will face the Dartmouth Destroyers White squad this Saturday in Burnside. Kickoff is at 5pm.
On Sunday the Bantam Titans donned their pink ribbons in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month as they hosted the South Shore Seahawks. The Bantam Titans put up 54 unanswered points against the first year Seahawks as they continue to shut opponents out. They travel to Burnside on Saturday to play the Dartmouth Destroyers. Kickoff is at 3pm.
The Peewee Titans travelled to the Merv Sullivan field where they defeated the Halifax Argos 50-24. The Peewees will play at home this Monday where they will face the Dartmouth Destroyers. Kickoff is at 10am.
The Mites travelled to Bud Bremner field for the Bedford Jamboree where they played the Valley and the host squad. This coming Sunday they return to Canning to play in the Valley Jamboree. Kickoff is at 1pm.
