On a wet and windy Sunday afternoon the Titans fought both a familiar foe and the elements to begin the season with a  24 - 0 victory over the visiting Bedford Saints at home on the Sir John A. field.  

The Bantam Titans Defense gave no quarter to the visiting Saints Offence by keeping them off the score sheet, allowing very few 2nd-down conversions and forcing a number of turnovers.  On Special Teams, both the kick-off and punt teams dictated the starting field position as they pinned the visitors deep on several occassions and swarmed the returning ball carriers.  The Offence displayed a determined ground game along with a timely and surgical passing attack despite enduring a 20 minute delay due to thunder and lightning.    

The Bantams Titans wiil face the Fall River Dragons next Saturday at the Lockview High School field in Fall River.
