The Lackawanna Rapids finalized their 2013 roster on Tuesday when Glen Wilke agreed to a one-year deal for the upcoming season. The Rapids have seen the biggest shake-up in franchise history this off-season with Shane Hanley and Adam Skurat leaving. Wilke, who has spent the past four seasons with the Cutters, rounds out a the "new" Rapids team.

Jack Mulroony and Andrew Zaleski joined the Rapids back in August. Zaleski won this year's West Cy Young award, striking out a league-best 66 batters. Wilke will be Lackawanna's fifth and final player for the next season.

Wilke batted .558 this season with 8 homeruns, 5 of them coming in the three games he played at Rapids Park. He also went to the 2010 Homerun Derby finals, which was held at Rapids Park.

The Rapids expressed concern with their defense after Adam Skurat parted ways a few days ago, but went out and got their best replacement for first base. Wilke has won back-to-back Gold Glove awards for first-base, narrowly beating Skurat in this year's voting.

With Wilke, the Rapids roster now stands at: Matt Herrmann, Ian Hanley, Andrew Zaleski, Jack Mulroony and Glen Wilke.
