The Peninsula Oilers take out the Anchorage Bucs with help from Wofford, 7-3

Brody Wofford went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Peninsula Oilers (21-19) to a 7-3 victory over the Anchorage Bucs (17-18) on Wednesday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Steven Sensley got on base two times in the game for the Anchorage Bucs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Justin Montgomery improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. Montgomery struck out five, walked four and gave up four hits.

Drew Gooch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out five.
