Peewee fall in Provincial Tier 1 CHampionship

Date:  Source: NSMFA Valley Bulldogs

With over 500 in attendance at Acadia's Raymond field on a beautiful November day, it was a great day for the Peewee Tier 1 provincial Championship.

The teams: Dartmouth ranked #3 and Valley Bulldogs Ranked #1

The destroyers got on the board on the second play of the game with a 64 yard rush by player of the game Scott Oliver.  The 2 point conversion came off the foot of Ethan Adams.

The bulldogs responded with a drive that marched the ball down to the 10 yard line, but resulted in a missed 17 yard field goal.

The Bulldogs did get on the board in the second quarter on a 1 yard sneak by QB Alex Hayes.  The first half score was 8 all.

In the second half, the Bulldogs turned the ball over giving Dartmouth excellent field position.  Despite this, the Valley defence led by Linebacker Logan Potter held strong. The Valley only allowed a field goal from place kicker Ethan Adams in the 3rd quarter to put Dartmouth ahead 11-8.

There was no further scoring by either team.  Dartmouth repeated as Tier 1 Peewee Champions for 2013
