Tyler Whitten gave the Caledon Golden Hawks the lead in the first period, and the Penetang Kings was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1. Whitten provided Caledon with the game-winning tally when he scored 11:40 into the first period. Daniel Stretton picked up the assist.With the win, the Golden Hawks evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. Penetang was stymied by Caledon's netminder Sam Procopio, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. Procopio certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.99 entering the contest. The Golden Hawks were led by Daniel Cafagna, who registered one goal. Cafagna scored 11:42 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Caledon. Eric Becker assisted on the tally. Caledon excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Golden Hawks forced the Kings goalie Andrew North to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots. Caledon also got a goal from Ryan Mouser as well. Other players who recorded assists for Caledon were Kevin Pleasance, Matt Magliozzi, Ryan Wonfor, and Ben Ardis, who contributed one each. Penetang put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Caledon to score on any of its seven power plays. The Golden Hawks were unable to stop the Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Penetang eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. The Kings were led by Matt Gill, who scored the team's only goal. Gill scored 15:48 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Caledon. Dallin Blunt picked up the assist. Caledon incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. North recorded 39 saves for Penetang. The Kings incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
