The Erin Shamrocks had trouble finding ways to stop the Alliston Hornets, which beat Shamrocks, 6-2.

The win by Alliston clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

Devon Gillham was all over the ice for the Hornets, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Gillham scored the first of his two goals at 18:20 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Alliston. Stephen Nosad picked up the assist. Gillham's next tally made the score 4-1 Alliston with 10:10 left in the second period. Carson Gandy provided the assist.

Alliston excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Alliston also got points from Brady Martin, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Alliston also got a goal from Mackenzie Flewelling as well. Other players who recorded assists for Alliston were Jordan Schwartz, who had two.

Erin was helped by Jesse Gunn, who registered one goal. Gunn scored 2:34 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Alliston. Liam Kendall picked up the assist. Brad Ranson also scored for Erin. More assists for Erin came via Mike Nicolucci and Mike McCannell, who contributed one each.

The Hornets' Mike Masucci stopped 18 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Alliston incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tom Denstedt recorded 17 saves for the Shamrocks. Erin incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
