Nick Arcan was all over the ice for the Alliston Hornets, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Alliston's 9-0 win over the Erin Shamrocks. Arcan scored at 2:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Alliston and again while 8:51 into the third to make the score 8-0 Alliston.After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Erin faces elimination next time out. The Hornets were boosted by Mike Masucci, who turned in a shutout with 32 saves. Masucci managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.39 prior to the game. Alliston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Shamrocks to score on any of their six power plays. Erin was unable to stop the Hornets from sending pucks towards the net, and Alliston eventually piled up 60 shots on goal. Alliston additionally got points from Devon Gillham, who also registered one goal and one assist and Jackson Arcan, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Alliston also had goals scored by Stephen Nosad, who had two and Ryan Sallows, Braydon Hogarth, and John Gage, who scored one goal each. In addition, Alliston received assists from Mitch Livingston, who had three and Brady Martin, Matt Taylor, Mackenzie Flewelling, Ryan Lewis, Matt Hamilton, and Jordan Schwartz, who each chipped in one. The Shamrocks forced the Hornets goalie Masucci to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Alliston incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Mark Terry made 51 saves for Erin on 60 shots. The Shamrocks incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
