The Schomberg Cougars fell behind early, and the Alliston Hornets kept piling on the points on the way to a 7-0 victory.

The win by Alliston clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

Joe Cochrane had one goal and three assists to lead the Hornets. Cochrane scored on the power play 5:55 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Alliston. Alliston had gotten the advantage when Schomberg's Vince Decastro was sent off for interference. Brady Martin assisted on the tally.

The Hornets' penalty kill excelled, as Alliston gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

The Hornets forced the Cougars' goaltenders to work in net, launching 32 shots and forcing 25 saves. Vince Michelizzi made 12 stops and Alex Traikos made 13. Alliston stifled Schomberg's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Alliston also got points from Mackenzie Flewelling, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Jordan Schwartz, who also registered one goal and one assist. Devon Gillham also scored for Alliston. In addition, Alliston received assists from Will Ferguson, Jacob Tuck, Nick Arcan, and Braydon Hogarth, who contributed one each.

Mike Masucci made 18 saves for the Hornets on 18 shots. Alliston incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Cougars incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
