Terry leads Erin to shutout victory over Huntsville

Mark Terry recorded a shutout against the Huntsville Otters as the Erin Shamrocks picked up a 5-0 win.

The win by Erin clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

Jesse Gunn was all over the ice for the Shamrocks, as he finished with two goals in the win. Gunn found the back of the net 3:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Erin and again while 18:05 into the third to make the score 6-0 Erin.

Erin stifled Huntsville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Erin also got points from Justin Wing, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Erin also got a goal from Mike Nicolucci as well. Other players who recorded assists for Erin were Keegan Martinec, Mike Kri, Alec Littlejohn, and Jeff Brown, who contributed one each.

Mark Terry made 25 saves for the Shamrocks on 25 shots. Erin incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Connor Christanson rejected 19 shots on goal for the Otters. Huntsville incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
