Minnesota Magicians American 16U vanquishes Texas Jr. Brahmas 16U in shootout, 4-3

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Minnesota Magicians American 16U defeated Texas Jr. Brahmas 16U in a shootout 4-3.

The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout. Minnesota Magicians American 16U's other shootout goal was scored by Payton Matsui.
