Max Balinson registered one point to lead the Ancaster Avalanche to a 6-1 victory over the Sarnia Legionnaires. Ancaster's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Sarnia power plays. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. The Avalanche were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 26 penalty minutes. Ancaster additionally got points from Ben Hughes, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Michael Pollice, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Ancaster included Lucas Pozzobon, Noah Matteson, and Joshua Pace, who scored one goal each. More assists for Ancaster came via Luke Zupan, who had two and Zach Lawrence, Zach Jackson, and Ryan Knill, who contributed one each. Sarnia could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game. The Legionnaires were led by Jacob Stos, who scored the team's only goal. Stos scored 23 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Sarnia. Matt Calas made 24 saves for Ancaster on 25 shots. The Avalanche registered two goals on six power play opportunities. Sarnia's Aidan Hughes stopped 23 shots out of the 29 that he faced.
