The Waterloo Siskins had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over the Brantford 99ers. Waterloo's Mitchell Datz was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Datz managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.89 prior to the game. The Siskins got the win thanks to a great game by Gary Mantz, who had two goals and one assist.
