Schnarr leads Waterloo over Brampton, 6-3

The Waterloo Siskins' Nate Schnarr had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Brampton Bombers.

Schnarr's tallies came at 13:08 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Waterloo and 8:29 into the third to make the score 5-1 Waterloo.

Waterloo's offense rang up 35 shots on Brampton's net. The Siskins found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Waterloo averages 3.3 goals per game.

Waterloo also got points from Conner Jean, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Gary Mantz also scored for Waterloo. In addition, Waterloo received assists from #$self.jersey, Nick King, Mitchell Rooney, and Matt Bourbeau, who contributed one each and Joshua Slegers and Austin Bentley, who each chipped in two.

The Bombers forced the Siskins goalie Max Wright to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Brampton's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

The Bombers were helped by Ryan Wells, who grabbed one goal. Wells scored 15:02 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Waterloo. Patrick Zilak provided the assist. Others who scored for Brampton included Tayler Woolcott and Jordan Kreller, who each put in one. More assists for Brampton came via Mike Rehding, Brad Bollert, and Mitch Shennette, who contributed one each.

Max Wright made 29 saves for Waterloo on 32 shots. The Siskins finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-0 with the man advantage. Eric Pitcher rejected 29 shots on goal for Brampton. The Bombers avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays.
