The Thorold Blackhawks' Jake Lloyd had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 6-0 win over the Niagara Falls Canucks.

Lloyd beat Adam Dentico with a shot 12:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Thorold. Brendan D`Agostino picked up the assist. Lloyd dished an assist on Cal Davis's goal that made the score 5-0 Thorold at 13:12 into the second period. He added another helper on D`Agostino's goal that made the score 6-0 Thorold at 14:32 into the second period.

Thorold put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Niagara Falls to score on any of its four power plays. The Blackhawks' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Thorold averages 3.0 goals per contest.
