Leamington downs St. Marys in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Leamington Flyers' Aaron Langlois scored 3:50 into overtime to beat the St. Marys Lincolns, 3-2 (OT).

Langlois was all over the ice for Leamington, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

The Flyers forced St. Marys goalie Paul Town to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.

Mark Gangnon also scored for Leamington. More assists for Leamington came via Jacob McGhee, Cale Phibbs, Scott Emerson, Scott Florence, and Liam Hogan, who contributed one each.

The Lincolns excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

St. Marys was helped by Graham Brulotte, who racked up one goal. Brulotte scored 5:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Marys. Jordan Winter picked up the assist. St. Marys additionally got points from Phillip Buque, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, St. Marys received assists from Dan Cloutier and Jeff Schrattner, who each chipped in one.

Michael Barrett recorded 18 saves for Leamington. The Flyers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Lincolns' Town stopped 37 shots out of the 40 that he faced. St. Marys incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Lincolns ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brennan Stapleton was ejected from the game.
