Fitzmorris' hat trick boosts Caledonia over Pelham, 15-2

The Pelham Panthers could not stop the Caledonia Corvairs' Mitchell Fitzmorris, who tallied a hat trick in a 15-2 win.

Fitzmorris' first goal came 11:48 into the first period. He then added goals at 43 seconds into the second and at 14:24 into the third.

Caledonia excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Corvairs forced Pelham goalie Stephen Harvey to work between the pipes, taking 67 shots. Caledonia bested its season scoring average. This season, the Corvairs average 6.0 goals per contest. Caledonia's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.

Caledonia also got points from Davis Brown, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Austin Brown, who also registered two goals and two assists, Jordan Brown, who also had one goal and two assists, Corey Pawley, who also tallied two goals and one assist, Tait Seguin, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Jake Brown, who also registered one goal and two assists, Matthew Hore, who also had two goals and three assists, and Todd Ratchford, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Caledonia also got a goal from Johnathon Schaefer as well. Other players who recorded assists for Caledonia were Mitch Graham, who had four, Ryan Moran, Ryan Punkari, and Chadd Bauman, who each chipped in one, and Jacob Bianchi and Quentin Maksimovich, who contributed two each.

Liam Conway took the win and made 14 saves before being replaced by Mark Sinclair who made zero saves. The Corvairs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Panthers' Harvey stopped 52 shots out of the 67 that he faced. Pelham incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
