A stellar performance between the pipes by Zack Weir helped the London Nationals defeat the St. Thomas Stars, 3-1. London was led by Max Vinogradov, who registered one goal. St. Thomas was held below its usual level of production. The Stars put an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game. St. Thomas was led by Spencer Hutchinson, who scored the team's only goal. Hutchinson scored 8:14 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Matt MacPherson picked up the assist. Zack Weir made 28 saves for the Nationals on 29 shots. London incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Stars' Dampier stopped 36 shots out of the 38 that he faced. St. Thomas incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
