A stellar performance between the pipes by Tyler Wall helped the Leamington Flyers defeat the Chatham Maroons, 4-1.

Leamington was led by Zach Guilbeault, who registered one goal. Guilbeault scored 3:27 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Leamington. Colin Moore picked up the assist.

The Flyers stifled Chatham's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Leamington kept the Maroons' goalie busy throughout the game, and Parker Butler made 32 saves on 36 shots. The Flyers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 60 minutes in penalties during the game.

Others who scored for Leamington included Luke Sanko, Mark Gangnon, and Liam Hogan, who each put in one. In addition, Leamington received assists from J.P. Grineau, Aaron Langlois, and Matthew Opblinger, who contributed one each.

Chatham did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Maroons put an average of 4.6 pucks into the net per game. Chatham found itself short handed often, totaling 52 penalty minutes and allowing nine power plays.

The Maroons were led by Ross Krieger, who scored the team's only goal. Krieger scored short handed 13:20 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Chatham played down a man on Ryan Fraser's holding. Devin Panzeca assisted on the tally.
