The Lambton Shores Predators and the Strathroy Rockets skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Lambton Shores and Strathroy could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

The Predators' offense rang up 46 shots on the Rockets' net.

Lambton Shores was helped by C.J. Kusch, who registered one goal. Kusch scored 15:10 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Strathroy. Andrew Kim assisted on the tally. Lambton Shores also had goals scored by Marcel Berube and Matthew Philip, who each put in one. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Colin Burns, who had two and Mike Zottl, Connor Merritt, and Franco Sproviero, who each chipped in one.

Strathroy forced the Predators goalie Keegan Paulette to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots.

The Rockets were helped by Lucas Latina, who racked up one goal. Latina scored 5:35 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Strathroy. Matt Laberge provided the assist. Others who scored for Strathroy included Shane Bulitka and Nick Griffin, who scored one goal each. More assists for Strathroy came via Evan Hogg, Steve Griggs, Kieran Milne, and Jeff Williams, who contributed one each.

Paulette recorded 42 saves for Lambton Shores. The Predators totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. Lambton Shores ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ethan Sarfati was ejected from the game. Strathroy's Dan Davies stopped 43 shots out of the 46 that he faced. The Rockets totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. For Strathroy, Latina was ejected from the game.
