Isaac Nurse was all over the ice for the Brantford 99ers, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Brantford's 7-4 win over the Brampton Bombers.

Nurse found the back of the net 19:22 into the first period to make the score 2-2 and again while 15:28 into the second to make the score 5-2 Brantford.

The 99ers forced Brampton's netminders to work between the pipes, ripping 44 shots and forcing 37 saves. Eric Pitcher made 24 stops and Jason Rhynold made 13. Brantford's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Brampton power plays. The 99ers found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Brantford averages 2.8 goals per game.

Brantford also got points from Kyle Walker, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Brantford also had goals scored by Guy Polillo, Jay Dekker, Alec Tiley, and Nick Visser, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Brantford were Brandon Scanlin, who had two, Jack Phibbs, who had three, and Matt Scanlin, Christian Polillo, Justin Donnelly, Macklin McPhee, and Jonathan Pace, who each chipped in one.

The 99ers were unable to stop the Bombers from sending pucks towards the net, and Brampton eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

The Bombers were helped by Lucas Goodman, who grabbed one goal. Goodman scored 11:31 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Brampton. Adel Zivojevic assisted on the tally.
