The LaSalle Vipers relied on the sparkling performance of Paolo Battisti in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Lambton Shores Predators.

The Vipers were led by Nathan Savage, who had one goal. Savage scored on the power play 16:19 into the second period to make the score 2-1 LaSalle. LaSalle had taken the advantage when the Predators' Carson Pearce got sent off for slashing. Manny Silverio provided the assist.

The Vipers forced Lambton Shores goalie Keegan Paulette to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

Eric Kirby also scored for LaSalle. In addition, LaSalle received assists from Liam MacDougall, who had two and Nathan Veres, Ryan Sarris, Tyler Russell, Maddux Rychel, and Blake Jones, who contributed one each.

The Predators forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and two majors for 32 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 23.0 minutes per game Lambton Shores had been spending in the box.

The Predators were led by Matthew Philip, who scored the team's only goal. Philip scored on the power play 18:12 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Lambton Shores had gained a power play chance when Russell was whistled for slashing. Ethan Sarfati assisted on the tally.
