Mitchell Amante had two goals and two assists to lead the Leamington Flyers to an 8-1 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Amante's tallies came short handed at 17:28 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Leamington and 15:34 into the second to make the score 4-1 Leamington.

Leamington's penalty kill excelled, as the Flyers gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Leamington stifled Lambton Shores' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Flyers forced the Predators goalie Anthony Hurtubise to work between the pipes, taking 61 shots.
