Carson Brookshaw registered two points to lead the St. Thomas Stars to a 6-2 victory over the Sarnia Legionnaires.

St. Thomas took advantage of Sarnia's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.

St. Thomas additionally got points from Matt McJannet, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Alex Turko, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Ryan Valentini also scored for St. Thomas. More assists for St. Thomas came via Spencer Hutchinson, Eric Henderson, Carson Esipu, Gage Stephney, and Andrew Chambers, who contributed one each and Carter McCormick and Cal Horvat, who each chipped in two.

The Legionnaires were helped by Brock Perry, who had one goal and one assist. Perry scored 4:42 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Thomas. Hunter Tyczynski picked up the assist. Sarnia also got points from Tyczynski, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Sarnia received assists from Ryan Trottier and Konnor Roskovich, who contributed one each.

Dan Black recorded 20 saves for the Stars. St. Thomas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Sarnia's Aidan Hughes stopped 22 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Legionnaires incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
