The St. Marys Lincolns' Nathan Smith had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 7-4 win over the Lambton Shores Predators. Smith beat Keegan Paulette with a shot 55 seconds into the third period to make the score 5-3 St. Marys. Ethan Sarfati picked up the assist. Brenden Trottier dished an assist on Ben Woo's goal that made the score 3-2 St. Marys at 16:16 into the first period. He added another helper on Sarfati's goal that made the score 4-3 St. Marys at 12:07 into the second period.Lambton Shores was unable to stop St. Marys from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lincolns eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. St. Marys found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Lincolns average 2.8 goals per game. St. Marys also got points from Phillip Buque, who also registered two goals and two assists to lead the team in points, Brent House, who also had one goal and one assist, Graham Brulotte, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Curtis Abbott, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Brandon Glover, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for St. Marys came via Jack Wieringa, who had one and Dan Cloutier and Nolan King, who contributed two each. The Predators put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Marys to score on any of its three power plays. Lambton Shores kept the Lincolns' goalie busy throughout the game, and Emanuel Vella made 29 saves on 33 shots. Lambton Shores additionally got points from Sarfati, who also racked up one goal and three assists. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Ryan Fraser, who had one and Franco Sproviero, who had two. St. Marys incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Keegan Paulette made 24 saves for the Predators on 30 shots. Lambton Shores incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. For the Predators, Derrick Treppa was ejected from the game.
