Mat Ouellet was superb between the pipes for the Strathroy Rockets, as he did not allow a goal in a 4-0 victory over the London Nationals.

Strathroy was led by Codey McRoberts, who racked up one goal. McRoberts scored 2:14 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Strathroy. Riley O`Connell assisted on the tally.

The Rockets' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four London power plays.

Strathroy also got points from Shane Bulitka, who also had one goal and one assist and O`Connell, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Strathroy also got a goal from TJ Harris as well. Other players who recorded assists for Strathroy were Jeff Clarke, who had one and Matt Laberge, who had two.

London's offense operated below its season average. The Nationals average 3.8 goals per game. London's offense rang up 38 shots on Strathroy's net.

Ouellet recorded 38 saves for the Rockets. Strathroy incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Nationals' starting goalie, Zack Weir, made 18 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Connor Hughes, who stopped six shots. London incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
