The Fort Erie Meteors tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Niagara Falls Canucks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. Niagara Falls made the score 4-2 on a goal by Tanner Allen at 1:59 in the third period, and Fort Erie got as close as 4-3 when Manny Manns scored 19:02 into the third period. The Canucks' offense rang up 35 shots on the Meteors' net. Niagara Falls was ineffective while on the power play, as it was held to two goals off of nine man advantages. The Canucks struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 44 penalty minutes for six opposing power plays. Niagara Falls also had goals scored by Frank Pucci, Peter Falivena, and Austin Bottrell, who each put in one. More assists for Niagara Falls came via Sean Farquharson, who had two and Kevin Boyd, Thomas Flack, Zack Lansfield, Evan Denley, Dillon Hill, and Cesare Caldaroni, who each chipped in one. Fort Erie could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 40 minutes in penalties during the game. Fort Erie also got points from Ben Evans, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Anthony Passero, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Fort Erie received assists from Danial Singer, who had one. Niagara Falls' Adam Dentico stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. Brayden Lachance made 31 saves for the Meteors on 35 shots. For Fort Erie, Holden Garlent was ejected from the game.
