The Niagara Falls Canucks' Thomas Flack had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-2 win over the Thorold Blackhawks.

Flack scored at 4:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Thorold and again while on the power play 15:05 into the third to make the score 5-2 Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 26 penalty minutes.

The Canucks found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, Niagara Falls averages 3.0 goals per contest.

Niagara Falls also got points from Zack Lansfield, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Niagara Falls included Peter Falivena, Luke Laurin, and Matthew Marsden, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Niagara Falls were Sean Farquharson, who had two and Matthew Baldinelli, Joseph Murdaca, and Cristian DiFonzo, who each chipped in one.

Thorold forced the Canucks goalie Murdaca to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

The Blackhawks were helped by Francois Plamondon, who had one goal. Plamondon scored 17:03 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Thorold. Daniel Pugliese provided the assist. Thorold also got a goal from David D`Agostino as well. More assists for Thorold came via Brendan D`Agostino, Anthony Merante, and Tyler Sehovic, who contributed one each.

Joseph Murdaca made 30 saves for Niagara Falls on 32 shots. The Canucks registered two goals on five power play opportunities. Josh Astorino rejected 24 shots on goal for Thorold. The Blackhawks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
