Huge game by Waterhouse boosts Guelph over Waterloo, 4-1Waterloo Rec Complex Sun, Nov 08, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Guelph Hurricanes' Ryan Waterhouse had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 4-1 win over the Waterloo Siskins. Waterhouse found the back of the net on the power play 1:12 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Guelph and again while 17:05 into the third to make the score 4-1 Guelph.Guelph was led by goalie Christian Propp, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Propp certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.76 entering the contest. Others who scored for Guelph included Corson Searles and Brody Milne, who scored one goal each. In addition, Guelph received assists from Stefano Pezzetta, Cameron Stokes, Dylan Wallace, Noah Cameron, Quinn Hanna, and Cameron Palmer, who contributed one each. Waterloo was led by Austin Bentley, who scored the team's only goal. Bentley scored 6:33 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Guelph. Connor Bodnar assisted on the tally. The Hurricanes incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Siskins' Mitchell Datz stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced. Waterloo incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. |
