The Kitchener Dutchmen's Adam Kawalec scored 23 seconds into overtime to beat the Stratford Cullitons, 3-2 (OT). Kitchener was led by Kawalec, who racked up one goal and one assist. The Dutchmen forced Stratford goalie Nick Redman to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Kitchener also had goals scored by Matthew Cruickshank and Jeremy Kuehn, who each put in one. In addition, Kitchener received assists from Connor Cole, who had two and Marselis Subban and Taite Wirschke, who contributed one each. The Cullitons excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Stratford did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season.
