The Fort Erie Meteors, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the St. Catharines Falcons and clinched a 5-3 victory. Fort Erie led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Meteors' Declan Conway scored at 15:55 in the first period to put Fort Erie up 3-0. The Meteors were led by Dakota Miskolczi, who registered one goal. Miskolczi scored 9:52 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Fort Erie. Mackenzie Lockyer picked up the assist. Fort Erie additionally got points from Mackenzie Passero, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Manny Manns, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Nick Passafiume, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, Fort Erie received assists from Ben Evans and Danial Singer, who each chipped in one. St. Catharines' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Fort Erie power plays. The Falcons kept Fort Erie's goalie busy throughout the game, and Brayden Lachance made 34 saves on 37 shots. St. Catharines' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. The Falcons give up 1.5 goal per game. St. Catharines was helped by Brandon Vuic, who grabbed one goal. Vuic scored on the power play 19:16 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Fort Erie. The Falcons earned a power play opportunity when Troy Henley was put in the box for hooking. Tyler Hildebrandt assisted on the tally. St. Catharines also had goals scored by Owen Green and Nicholas Dozzi, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Catharines came via Romaeo D`Intino, Jake Evans, and Brandon Cercone, who contributed one each. The Meteors incurred 72 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Fort Erie, Anthony Passero and Holden Garlent were ejected from the contest. St. Catharines' starting goalie, Cameron Gray, made 20 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Joel Horodziejczyk, who stopped three shots. The Falcons incurred 40 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For St. Catharines, Evans was ejected from the game.
