A stellar performance between the pipes by Brendan Johnston helped the Chatham Maroons defeat the Lambton Shores Predators, 4-1. Chatham was led by Ross Krieger, who registered one goal and one assist. Krieger scored 19:21 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Chatham. Connor Koviak assisted on the tally. The Maroons forced Lambton Shores' goalies to work in net, totaling 38 shots and forcing 34 saves. Anthony Hurtubise made 26 stops and Tyler Caruana made eight. Chatham also got points from Dede Cato, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Chatham also had goals scored by Teddy McGeen and Blair Derynck, who scored one goal each. In addition, Chatham received assists from Connor McKinnon, Josh Barraclough, Brayden Hopkins, and Ian Faubert, who each chipped in one. The Predators were held below their usual level of production. Lambton Shores puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. The Predators were led by Ryan Fraser, who scored the team's only goal.
