Trevor Dulong was all over the ice for the London Nationals, as he tallied two goals in London's 7-2 win over the St. Thomas Stars. Dulong's tallies came at 1:46 into the second period to make the score 3-0 London and 13:27 into the second to make the score 7-1 London.The Nationals' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three St. Thomas power plays. London surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Nationals average 3.8 goals per contest. London also got points from Ethan Cocurullo, who also registered one goal and one assist and Rai Di Loreto, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Matt Bean also scored for London. St. Thomas stifled London's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Stars' offense operated below their season average. St. Thomas puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. The Nationals were unable to stop the Stars from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Thomas eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. The Stars were led by Ryan Valentini, who racked up one goal and one assist. Valentini scored 16:37 into the third period to make the score 7-2 London. St. Thomas also got a goal from Carson Brookshaw as well. In addition, St. Thomas received assists from Ethan Nother, who had one. London's Connor Hughes stopped 38 shots out of the 40 that he faced. The Nationals incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Nikolas Dampier took the loss and made 19 saves before being replaced by Dan Black who made four saves. St. Thomas incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
