Behind a great game by Manny Silverio, who had one goal and three assists, the LaSalle Vipers defeated the Strathroy Rockets, 5-2.

Silverio scored 19:06 into the third period to make the score 5-2 LaSalle. Eric Kirby provided the assist. Silverio dished an assist on James Brooks's goal that made the score 1-0 LaSalle at 17:30 into the first period. He then added assists on Tyler Russell's goal at 7:10 into the second and on Brooks' goal at 16:38 into the second.

Strathroy was unable to stop LaSalle from sending pucks towards the net, and the Vipers eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

LaSalle also got points from Russell, who also had one goal and one assist. LaSalle also got a goal from Blake Jones as well. More assists for LaSalle came via Matthew Doucette, who had two and Liam MacDougall and Nathan Savage, who each chipped in one.

The Rockets were helped by Wesley Kelly, who registered one goal. Kelly scored 14:46 into the third period to make the score 4-2 LaSalle. Matt Laberge picked up the assist. Shane Bulitka also scored for Strathroy. In addition, Strathroy received assists from Matt McGhee and Codey McRoberts, who contributed one each.

Eli Billing made 27 saves for LaSalle on 29 shots. The Vipers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dane Gubbels recorded 34 saves for Strathroy. The Rockets incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
