Corey Pawley registered two points to lead the Caledonia Corvairs to a 3-0 victory over the Fort Erie Meteors. Caledonia excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Corvairs could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Caledonia averages 5.3 goals per game. The Corvairs' defensive play was more effective than usual against Fort Erie. Caledonia averages 2.1 goals allowed per game. The Corvairs kept the Meteors' goalie busy throughout the game, and Brayden Lachance made 43 saves on 46 shots. Caledonia also had goals scored by Ryan Punkari and Mitchell Fitzmorris, who scored one goal each. In addition, Caledonia received assists from Matthew Hore, who had two and Ryan Moran, Blake Luscombe, and Quentin Maksimovich, who contributed one each. Fort Erie was held below its usual level of production. The Meteors put an average of 2.9 pucks into the net per game. Caledonia's Zach Moore stopped 15 shots out of the 15 that he faced. The Corvairs incurred 42 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Caledonia, Brad Johnson was ejected from the game. Fort Erie incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
