The Thorold Blackhawks climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat the Fort Erie Meteors, 5-3.

Thorold never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Blackhawks was down 3-0 after a goal by Fort Erie's Danial Singer at 6:09 in the first period. Thorold knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Cal Davis at 19:32 in the second period. The Blackhawks scored the game winner on the power play at 11:16 in the third period on a goal by Davis.

Thorold was paced by Nick Sacco, who finished with one goal.

The Blackhawks' offense rang up 45 shots on the Meteors' net. Thorold found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Blackhawks average 2.5 goals per game. Thorold's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Ben Evans provided the assist. Garlent's next tally on the power play made the score 2-0 Fort Erie with 14:53 left in the first period. Anthony Passero picked up the assist. In addition, Fort Erie received assists from Alex Hurran, Garrett Jennings, and Declan Conway, who contributed one each.
