Jones lifts LaSalle over Lambton Shores, 5-2

Blake Jones had two goals to lead the LaSalle Vipers to a 5-2 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Jones' tallies came at 13:03 into the second period to make the score 3-0 LaSalle and 14:40 into the third to make the score 4-2 LaSalle.

LaSalle's offense rang up 43 shots on Lambton Shores' net.

LaSalle also got a goal from Nolan Gardiner as well. Other players who recorded assists for LaSalle were Clay Kraynack, Liam MacDougall, Maddux Rychel, Manny Silverio, Connor Rosaasen, and Kyle Auger, who each chipped in one and Zack Hoffman and Eric Kirby, who contributed two each.

The Predators excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Lambton Shores kept the Vipers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Paolo Battisti made 33 saves on 35 shots.

The Predators were helped by Sean Ross, who had one goal. Ross scored on the power play 15:52 into the second period to make the score 3-2 LaSalle. Lambton Shores had taken the advantage when LaSalle's Dalton Langlois got sent off for hooking. Franco Sproviero assisted on the tally. Colin Burns also scored for Lambton Shores. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Connor Merritt, Christian Babineau, and Ryan Fraser, who each chipped in one.

The Vipers incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For LaSalle, Nikko Sablone was ejected from the game. Tyler Caruana rejected 38 shots on goal for the Predators. Lambton Shores incurred 40 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
