The LaSalle Vipers and the Sarnia Legionnaires skate to 1-1 (OT) tie

Sarnia rebounded from a one-goal deficit to tie LaSalle,.

The Vipers could not produce up to their normal offensive output. LaSalle puts an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. The Vipers forced the Legionnaires goalie Aidan Hughes to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

LaSalle was led by Tyler Russell, who scored the team's only goal. Russell scored 9:46 into the third period to make the score 1-0 LaSalle. Maddux Rychel picked up the assist.

Sarnia excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Legionnaires' offense rang up 31 shots on the Vipers' net.

Sarnia was led by Jordan Fogarty, who scored the team's only goal. Fogarty scored on the power play 11:32 into the third period to make the score 1-1. The Legionnaires earned a power play opportunity when Nolan Gardiner was put in the box for high sticking. Ryan Trottier assisted on the tally.

Eli Billing made 30 saves for LaSalle on 31 shots. The Vipers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Hughes rejected 30 shots on goal for Sarnia. The Legionnaires incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
