The St. Thomas Stars' Carson Brookshaw scored 2:26 into overtime to beat the Lambton Shores Predators, 7-6 (OT).

St. Thomas forced Lambton Shores' goalies to work without much rest, launching 41 shots and forcing 34 saves. Tyler Caruana made 17 stops and Anthony Hurtubise made 17. The Stars surpassed their usual scoring output this season. St. Thomas has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign. The Stars capitalized on the Predators' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage.

St. Thomas was led by Ryan Valentini, who tallied three goals. St. Thomas additionally got points from Adam Keyes, who also had one goal and one assist. St. Thomas also had goals scored by Jake Reed and Adam Truax, who scored one goal each.
