The Elmira Sugar Kings and the Brantford 99ers skate to 1-1 (OT) tie

Elmira found itself down againt Brantford, but battled back to secure to a tie.

The Sugar Kings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Brantford power plays. Elmira did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Sugar Kings put an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game. The 99ers were unable to stop Elmira from sending pucks towards the net, and the Sugar Kings eventually piled up 46 shots on goal.

Elmira was led by Zac Coulter, who scored the team's only goal. Coulter scored 11:22 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Ethan Skinner provided the assist.

Brantford excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

The 99ers were led by Christian Polillo, who scored the team's only goal. Polillo scored 9:17 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Brantford. Guy Polillo picked up the assist.

Liam Conway recorded 26 saves for the Sugar Kings. Elmira ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. The Sugar Kings ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ty Biles was ejected from the game. Will Rawski rejected 45 shots on goal for Brantford. The 99ers ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. For Brantford, Alec Tiley was ejected from the game.
