Guelph survives penalties, beats Brantford, 6-2Sleeman Centre Sat, Sep 26, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Brantford 99ers failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Guelph Hurricanes shook off a number of penalties to win, 6-2. Guelph was led by Brody Milne, who tallied one goal and one assist. Milne scored 19:27 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Guelph. Sebastian Stangherlin picked up the assist. The Hurricanes put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Brantford to score on any of its six power plays. Guelph additionally got points from Stefano Pezzetta, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Ryan Burns, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
