Rawski, Brantford blank Waterloo, 3-0

Will Rawski was superb between the pipes for the Brantford 99ers, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Waterloo Siskins.

Brantford pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

The 99ers were led by Jack Phibbs, who tallied one goal and one assist. Phibbs scored 9:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brantford. Zander Pryor picked up the assist.

Brantford stifled Waterloo's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Brantford additionally got points from Matthew Woods, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Christian Polillo also scored for Brantford. In addition, Brantford received assists from Guy Polillo and Kyle Walker, who contributed one each.

The Siskins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Brantford power plays. Waterloo forced the 99ers goalie Rawski to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Brantford's Rawski stopped 38 shots out of the 38 that he faced. Mitchell Datz made 23 saves for the Siskins on 26 shots. Waterloo incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
