Chicago Jr. Blackhawks falls to Connecticut Yankees in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Sydney Morrow gave Connecticut Yankees a 3-2 (OT) victory over Chicago Jr. Blackhawks when he scored 48 seconds into the extra period.

Connecticut Yankees was led by Morrow, who grabbed one goal.

Connecticut Yankees also got points from Andon Cerbone, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Nicholas Capasso also scored for Connecticut Yankees. Other players who recorded assists for Connecticut Yankees were Christian Wood, who had one and Joseph Dable, who had two.

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks was helped by Will Moore, who registered one goal. Moore scored on the power play 2:06 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks had taken the advantage when Connecticut Yankees' Morrow got sent off for interference. Cole Knuble picked up the assist. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks also got a goal from Tyler Pan as well. More assists for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks came via Aiden Dubinsky and Jaxon Wilson, who each chipped in one.

Brendan Holohan made 16 saves for Connecticut Yankees on 18 shots. Connecticut Yankees incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Luke Szyszka recorded 19 saves for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
